1.0 GENERAL<br />
1.1 This specification outlines the minimum requirements for complete design,<br />
engineering, manufacturing, procurement of raw materials and bought out<br />
components, assembly at shop, inspection, testing, painting, packing and delivery of<br />
the Silencers for UNIT- DHDT& VGU-HDT of M/s BPCL, IREP-KOCHI.<br />
1.2 This job specification provides the additional requirements along with the requirements<br />
of standard specification 6-12-0030.<br />
2.0 SCOPE<br />
2.1.1 Scope of Supply<br />
Supply of following Silencers as per enclosed Data Sheets, P&ID’s, this job<br />
specification, and other specifications, documents of Material Requisition.<br />
i. IG-LZ-105 Steam generator silencer-1- Qty-1<br />
ii. IG-LZ-106 Steam generator silencer-1 - Qty-1<br />
iii. IG-LZ-116 LP Steam Desuperheater 1 Silencer - Qty-1<br />
iv. IV-LZ-211 LP Steam Vent Silencer- Qty-1<br />
v. IV-LZ-212 MP Steam Vent Silencer- Qty-1<br />
vi. IV-LZ-213 LP Steam Vent Silencer - Qty-1<br />
vii. IV-LZ-214 LP Steam Vent Silencer- Qty-1<br />
2.1.2 The silencer shall be supplied complete with:<br />
- Acoustic insulation.<br />
- Detachable rain hood & bird screen.<br />
- Drain connection with 3/4" Gate valve for draining the condensate<br />
- Support brackets along with anchor bolts.<br />
- Lifting lugs.<br />
- Painting material.<br />
- Insulation cleats.<br />
- Documents as called for in Vendor Data Requirement.<br />
- Bolts, Nuts & gaskets for all bolted connections.<br />
- Spares (Refer clause no. 7.0 of this specification)<br />
- IBR approval for item IV-LZ-212<br />
2.2 Scope of Services<br />
- Design and engineering.<br />
- Manufacture, inspection & testing as per Cl.5.5.<br />
- Surface preparation, shop primer/ painting & finish painting.<br />
- Packing for transportation to site.<br />
- Performance testing.<br />
2.3 Exclusions:<br />
- Civil & Structural Works<br />
- Erection & Installation of equipment<br />
3.0 CODES AND STANDARDS<br />
3.1 Following codes, standards and recommended practices shall be followed to the<br />
extent applicable:<br />
