yurt diğer adıyla yeryüzü cenneti olan
Ergenekon geldi. Arkeolojik kazılar önümüzdeki
yıl da devam edecek. Türkiye’den
ve Azerbaycan’dan tarihçilerin katıldığı bir
uluslararası sergi açacağız. Bu kapsamda 2
günlük saha gezisi düzenlenecek.
Türk halklarının milli tarihlerini okuyabilecekleri
bir diğer projeniz de Tarih
Müzesi ve Türk Kütüphanesi’ydi. Tarih
meraklıları buralarda neler bulabilir?
Nahçıvan Zirvesi sırasında Nazarbayev’in
iki önerisi daha oldu. Akademi yanında bir
Türk Tarihi Müzesi ve Türk Kütüphanesi
açma fikrini ortaya attı. Kütüphaneye 32
bin kitap aldık. Macaristan’dan 16 bin kitaptan
oluşan bir kütüphane getirdik. Ünlü
bir Türkolog’un bize bir bağışı oldu. Şu an
küçük bir alanda olduğu için konsept olarak
dört bölüme ayırdık. Müzede genellikle
arkeolojik kazılar sonucunda elde ettiğimiz
müzik aletleri, etnografik ve tarihi eşyalar
mesela ok, yay ve giysi sergiliyoruz. Türk
dünyasının, özellikle kurucu ülkelerin
geleneklerini yansıtabilecek unsurları gösteriyoruz.
Kısa zamanda çok sayıda eser
topladık. Altaylarda bulduğumuz eserler
de orada sergilenecek.
cavation works in the Altai Mountains.”
This had immediate results and works
started in the Altai Mountains last year.
While we were dealing with the 200th
year celebrations of the Dede Korkut book,
we received a phone call from our excavation
team, telling that they found musical
instruments. We went there. Tombs of
Turkish rulers were found in the area
called Berel, on Kazakh borders. In those
tombs, there were more than 60 horses
with gold ornaments. It was a holy place
for Turks. Three musical instruments
were found, one of them was an ancient
zither. Al Farabi introduced this instrument
to the world. It is very interesting to
see that Turks carry swords in one hand,
and a musical instrument in the other.
Turks are very emotional, as we see. It is
very hard to find such a contrast. Other
instruments were oud and lute. Each
Turkish soldier was buried with a musical
instrument, which means Turkish
community was joyful and fertile. We
also saw that soldiers died without any
injury. Then I remembered Ergenekon, the
heaven on earth which is also known as
the lost land. Archaeological excavations
will continue next year. We will organize
an international exhibition with the participation
of historians from Turkey and
Azerbaijan. A 2-year field visit will be
made within this context.
You have realized the Museum of
History and the Turkish Library projects
to give Turkish nations a chance
to read their national history. What do
they have to offer to history-lovers?
Nazarbayev had two other suggestions during
the Nakhchivan summit. He pointed out
the necessity for a Turkish History Museum
and a Turkish Library in addition to the
Academy. We bought 32 thousand books for
the library. We brought a library of 16 thousand
books from Hungary. A well-known
Turkologist donated for this project. We
divided the area into four according to concepts
due to lack of space. Here we exhibit
musical instruments, ethnographic and
historic things such as arrows, bows and
cloths. We generally display the things that
reflect the traditions of the Turkic world
and particularly of the founding nations. We
have collected a huge amount of monuments
in a short period of time. The monuments
that we found in the Altai Mountains will be
displayed there.
