<strong>Judicial</strong> <strong>System</strong> in Saudi Arabia<br />

1. large number of people enjoy religious restrain which<br />

lead them to refrain from doing injustice and behave<br />

equitably;<br />

2. deep-rooted traditions and customs which often<br />

lead people to abandon or relinquish disputing for<br />

consideration of kinship, and as well in some family<br />

matters in order to maintain marital relationship even in<br />

cases of divorce and separation;<br />

3. conciliation councils among tribes and families to<br />

prevent revenges and feuds and encourage conciliation<br />

whether with or without price, division of land and<br />

farms and estates. There are also conciliation centers<br />

in cities and neighborhoods playing the role of social<br />

reformer, and as well as institutions for family guidance<br />

and education which are staffed by specialists, social<br />

workers and researchers doing their best in solving<br />

peoples social problems fairly, scientifically and<br />

practically;<br />

4. verbal deliberation before courts in the presence of<br />

disputants by hearing the claims and answers to said<br />

claims directly by concerned parties where judges<br />

will be able to find facts and apply law. This is usually<br />

accompanied by judges playing active role in urging<br />

parties to observe the teachings of Allah – this usually<br />

have a positive influence on disputants and ultimately<br />

end in conciliation of the parties. It is important to<br />
