Outcome<br />

Provide the overarching guidance, strategy and strategic support to the Department of Correctional<br />

Services. Provide a media and communications hub for Justice (Department of Correctional<br />

Services and the Department of the Attorney-General and Justice).<br />

Corporate and Governance<br />

Provide specialist technical advice and strategic support in the areas of information services,<br />

policy, research and statistics, finance services, human resources, staff learning and development,<br />

professional standards, audit and risk management, major projects and infrastructure, executive and<br />

secretariat. These services enable efficient operation and effective performance of the Department<br />

of Correctional Services while ensuring compliance and promotion of fiscal responsibility. Provide<br />

a media and communications hub for the Department of Correctional Services, the Department of<br />

the Attorney-General and Justice and associated independent offices including Consumer Affairs,<br />

Anti-Discrimination Commission, Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, Registrar-General<br />

and Information Commissioner.<br />

During 20<strong>16</strong>, NTDCS reviewed the key deliverables for Corporate and Governance and identified<br />

more informative and refined measures that would better represent key deliverables. Where<br />

indicated above as new, the performance measures will commence from 1 July 20<strong>16</strong>.<br />
