The Borroloola Community Corrections Office
opened for business on 1 March 2016, and
is located in the Roper Gulf Shire building,
Robinson Road, Borroloola.
There are two staff members attached to the
office, Sharon Kinraid is the Probation and
Parole Case Manager (PPCM) who commenced
in Borroloola on opening day, and Stephanie
Anderson who was appointed a Community
Probation and Parole Officer, commenced on
27 April 2016.
The Borroloola office also oversees Robinson
River (150 kilometers to the south east) near
the Queensland border. The office is currently
supervising 43 offenders.
Information Technology connectivity has been
an issue and will hopefully be resolved soon
by installing towers on the roof of the school
and Roper Gulf building enabling a Wi-Fi
connection.
