HENRY STREET
This street has several large shopping
stores which include the Liffey Valley
Shopping Centre, Epicurean Food Hall
that offers a wide range of foreign
cuisines and Arnotts, the city’s oldest
and largest departmental store. The
street also has plenty of stalls that sell
hats, handbags, fruits and vegetables.
GRAFTON STREET
The top of the street is marked by the
St Stephen's Green shopping centre
while the end was marked by a statue
of Molly Malone which often has a
friendly leprechaun lingering around
nearby. However, Malone was moved
to the top of Suffolk Street in 2014. Fret
not, you would most probably still see
the leprechaun. The street itself is the
epicentre of Dublin shopping and you
will find all the classic high street retailers
to regular street fare alongside many
buskers and street performers. It's a nice
experience to hear a variety of musical
and artistic influences mix on the streets
as you peruse the shops and you'll be
sure to find some tourist fare here.
GEORGE’S
STREET ARCADE
Travel
George’s Street Arcade offers an eclectic
mix of boutique and vintage clothes
shops at affordable prices, food markets
and quirky collectible stalls along with
little cafes. Built in 1881 as a Victorian
Shopping Centre, it has undergone
reconstruction and changes of hands
but has always maintained its own
unique atmosphere. But, the most
important thing of all, you can still enjoy
‘independent’ boutique shops and stalls
ranging from trendy clothing, jewellery,
funky music, collectible items, souvenirs
and more along with wonderful dining
and food options.
Dublin, capital of the Republic of Ireland, is home to slightly over 500,000 citizens. The modern
and contemporary capital steeps in history with a 13th century castle and 12th century cathedral.
The city also houses the Guinness Storehouse, a top visitor attraction apart from the iconic
Dublin Zoo and the National Gallery of Ireland. But, above it all, the city is also the spot to
be if you’re in mood for some good ol’ shopping! Here are some of our recommendations.
