FEEKA COFFEE ROASTERS
General Manager, Alex Anthony had this to say when we
asked what were Feeka's best sellers, "Our coffee of course!
Our team of baristas pushes out great coffee beans that
we source with our coffee partners. We also source our milk
from local milk farms to ensure there is no additives and
preservatives. The fresh milk allows us to create creamy,
smooth texture to our milk based coffee."
The tasting notes? Dark chocolate and honey-like sweetness.
As the beans are not the same all year round, the current
batch is from Indonesia and known as Ratawali. For the
months of November and December 2016, customers will
be able to enjoy tea time promotions during the weekdays
between 3pm and 6pm as a slice of Naked Cake and cup
of black coffee or tea is pegged at RM16 excluding taxes.
DR.INC
"We don’t do processed food, it's the real deal." The
philosophy at DR.Inc, Founder and Chef, João Melo
says, he cooks without forgetting his Portuguese roots
and combines his kitchen with a Malaysian twist and
Malaysian ingredients. He also cheekily adds that the
establishment serves the best coffee in Kuala Lumpur
apart from whipping up a mean plate of Eggs Benedict,
Black Nasi Lemak which is served with pickled anchovies
and other beverages such as Espresso Bomb, Milo Dino
Bomb and Gingerbread Latte.
CREAM BY THE ROAST THINGS
Coffee is prepared using a manual brew to highlight the
flavour clarity that showcases the coffee's inherent
characteristics due to differences in variety, the microclimate
that the coffee is grown at and the quality of
farming and processing techniques. Filter coffee is served
in two versions, hot and chilled. This is to portray the
coffee's quality even when chilled as the cafe management
believes that good coffee still tastes good or even better
when cooled or chilled.
