SLEEP LIKE A BABY ON THE
ROYAL SILK CLASS!
Make the most out of your seats as it
transforms into a lounge, office and bed
in the clouds. Catering for your diverse
needs while en-route to your destination,
a wide range of amenities is provided
throughout the fleet of aircraft, each
being continually upgraded with the
latest innovations in line with the
character of each route.
Whilst other aircrafts offer angled
seating typically between 160-170
degrees, on THAI's Airbus A380s and
newly retrofitted Boeing 777s and 787s,
the seat can transform to 180 degree
fully flat beds. Additionally, the spacious
seats on all routes are customisable,
enabling you to select your optimum
balance of head, back, leg angle and
lumber support.
Choose from a plethora of music CDs,
movies and TV channels on demand at
your fingertips between 15 and 16-inch
flat screens. PC power points are also
available at all seats along with USB
ports for all kinds of other devices. With
Royal Silk Class, passengers are not only
offered an exemplary award winning
service and meals that will indulge your
culinary senses, but also privileged
access to exclusive lounges of THAI and
partner airlines around the world.
A GASTRONOMICAL
ADVENTURE
Travelling in Royal Silk Class is a culinary
journey of exquisite flavours beginning
with a hot towel and a choice of
champagne, juice or water prior to takeoff.
Once airborne, the gracious service
by dedicated Royal Silk Class cabin crew
continues during in flight meal service
and throughout the flight with meticulous
attention to detail.
On most regional and intercontinental
flights, dining begins with a small
appetiser to tease the palate, followed
by a light first course, a fresh salad and
perhaps a house-made terrine, a
choice of hot main courses often
matched to the preferred tastes of
those travelling on specific routes or
a selection of cheese accompanied by
fruit and a dessert to end with coffee
or tea.
