RACHEL KYLIAN IS

THEATER AND PAINTING.

orn in France, Kylian, the middle one of three
daughters, visited Hollywood at age 16 and
realized she was destined to be on stage. That same year, she
began modeling, on runways, in beauty pageants and print.
Having had the opportunity to travel abroad extensively,
Kylian has mastered five languages - French, Swahili,
English, Spanish and German and can speak conversational
Chinese. With every endeavor she pursues, she brings her
multicultural experiences collected from around the world.
This rich, and certainly rare, history contributes to Kylian’s
inviting persona and confident spirit. Though a strong
and obviously intelligent woman, she is appreciative and
humble, grateful for the opportunities she has been gifted
along her thrilling journey.

Looking at the immediate horizon, Kylian gives
no indication of slowing down. She is the French
female voice (the trainer) for the fitness app Fitbit,
the face for Honda Clarity 2017, hers is the beautiful
voice on The Affair (Showtime) episode 10, season
3, and she has two indie films scheduled for release
this year. Whew!
Looking back over her progressive career, it’s been
a great deal of hard work and, of course, very busy.
Kylian believes you have to be careful what you ask
for, because right now she is busier than ever. It’s
not that she’s ungrateful. She has strong work ethic
and confidence instilled in her by her supportive
parents. About her passion Kylian says, “When I want
something, I do everything to get it”. When asked
what her family thinks about her career choice to be
an actress, Kylian joyfully responds, “My family is very
proud of my journey as an actress”.
We share her family’s jubilation and look forward to
the many more accomplishments yet to come to this
beautiful and talented actress. l
As a tour de force within the Hollywood circle, diverse
acting opportunities are keeping Kylian’s career busy.
Her first role in a major film is as a supporting actress in
‘Black November,’ a story based on actual events about the
struggle for Nigeria’s petroleum-rich Niger delta of which
she said working with great talents such as Hakeem Kae-
Kazim, Kim Bassinger, Mickey Rourke, Vivica A. Fox and
writer and director Jeta Amata was “a great experience”.
Kylian’s most recent appearance is in the 2016 holiday film
‘Almost Christmas’, starring Danny Glover, Gabrielle Union,
Kimberly Elise and Monique. Kylian, whose character is
the mom Grace Meyers, is the backbone of the family.
Kylian says, “Working with the legend Danny Glover is
thrilling. He is simple and humble, he is calm and sweet.
It was lovely to work with him and to analyze his process”.
