InFluential: There is a saying that everyone has a
book in them. Do you think you do? Are there other
creative outlets you’d like to pursue?
Dustin: I do have a few screenplays in me, one is the true
story of my mother creating the first multi-racial softball
team in her league while living in Panama; they went on
to become undefeated champions. I’ve written lyrics and
melodies to five of Medi’s songs. One song was recorded
and then performed at the gorgeous Skirball Cultural
Center for LA Swim Week 2016.
InFluential: What’s something you wish someone
would ask you and has never been asked?
Dustin: The telephone rings, I pick up and the
conversation goes like this: “Hi Dustin, this is Marty, Marty
Scorsese. I want to give you a role in my project I’m
currently developing. You in?”
InFluential: What kind of things do you like to do in
your spare time?
Dustin: I have the honor of serving on the host committee
for City Gala, for 2017 Halle Berry, Quincy Jones and John
Travolta gave inspired conversations. When Medi and I
aren’t attending an event, we enjoy rehearsing our music.
InFluential: What do you want everyone to know
about your best friend in the world?
Dustin: His is a magnificently multi-talented man named
Medi eM, and if we could find love in the big city of Los
Angeles, then anyone can find love, anywhere. Come to
our next red carpet premiere and I’ll introduce you to
some new friends.
Although it seems Dustin has already accomplished quite a
bit of Hollywood, the talented actress and stunning model
remains ambitious. What makes Dustin unique is her ability
to “QUICKly” find her level of comfort. Television, done that,
and well! The Big Screen, have done that, with ease! Fashion
modeling, rocks that, and looks good while doing it!
That’s the thing about Dustin, as her résumé shows,
the lady gets right into the action. This is Dustin’s time,
and she’s now unstoppable. l
