DO SOME CRUNCHES
If you have cellulite in your midabdominal
region, try doing some
crunches. Each crunch will force your
abdominal muscles to tighten up. The
fat in that area is used to provide
energy to this work out. What you will
get is less fat in your abdominal region
and a more toned mid-section.
KEEP STRESS AT BAY
You may increase the amount of
cellulite you have by getting stressed. Cortisol
is produced when you are stressed. Cortisol
causes your body to more readily store fat. It
also thins your skin. Think about doing yoga
and/or meditation exercises. Take a very long
walk in the fresh air. Identify a calming habit
and be sure to get lots of sleep.
GIVE UP THE CIGARETTES
Smoking is terrible for you in a
variety of ways. It damages the elasticity
of your skin and produces toxins that
damage it. It cuts your skin off from many
of the vital nutrients it needs in order
to stay healthy. This can cause sagging,
wrinkling, and even more cellulite.
MOISTURIZE YOUR SKIN
Try moisturizing and massaging
your skin to fight off cellulite. Skin needs
an extra hand from time to time. Help it by
moisturizing it. Then, break down its fatty
cells via kneading in the areas that are
prone to cellulite. Combining these two
methods tends to be effective. To boost
results, apply moisturizer in a circular
motion to boost circulation and cut down
on fatty deposits.
CONSIDER OTHER FACTORS
When looking at your cellulite
problem, it is important to know if you have
a genetic predisposition. Gender plays the
major part; however, factors such as race,
metabolic rate and circulatory issues
are involved as well. Being genetically
susceptible to cellulite will have an
impact on your approach to prevention.
If you have to deal with cellulite, you
don’t need to feel lazy or unhealthy.
Many active and healthy women have
cellulite, and many more folks have the
problem, too. Using these tips will give
you smoother skin.
