The team plans, implements and reviews internal and external examination processes in Mayflower. We plan and
deploy manpower for various examinations including Presiding and Chief Presiding Examiner/s for internal and external
examinations, Supervisors of Oral Examinations and Science Practical, and invigilators. Upon deploying key personnel,
we provide guidance and advice on roles and functions. We manage the process of candidature registration for national
examinations, working closely with Form teachers and Heads of Departments to ensure thoroughness and accuracy.
The Mayflower Secondary Assessment Policy strongly guides our internal assessment processes. The team plans the
schedule for each internal examination with a thorough look into details, ensuring the timely delivery of an accurate
examination timetable to the students and staff. We regulate the internal examination processes including printing of
paper, checking of examination papers, collection of scripts for marking, tracking of attendance/MCs and other general
routines. These are reviewed after each examination with refinements being constantly made.
The entire examination process is only complete upon the release of results. The examination committee looks into
the results of both internal and external examinations. The team prepares and interprets the global reports, which
supports the school management team including the school leaders in analysing the performance and designing the
appropriate intervention strategies.
