Modern Dance
Our CCA specialises in contemporary dance which
incorporates elements from many styles of dance such
as classical, ballet and jazz. During the CCA trainings,
we focus on mastering strong and controlled legwork
of ballet, floor work, fall and recovery and other
techniques.

SYF Celebrations 2017 @ The Malls
We were invited to perform at the SYF Celebrations
2017 at OneKM Shopping Mall on 1 July 2017 as part
of the SYF Celebrations 2017.
Values – In – Action Project with Ang Mo Kio
Methodist Church Kindergarten
Modern dance conducted a simple Dance workshop
in relation to the theme of this year’s National Day
celebrations for the pre-schoolers of Ang Mo Kio
Methodist Church Kindergarten. Through this VIA,
the modern dancers were able to share their passion
for dance to the younger generation, allowing them to
experience the joy of dancing, learn new techniques
and dance movements.
Achievements
SYF Arts Presentation
We are proud to share that Mayflower’s Modern Dance
clinched the Certificate of Accomplishment! Members of
Modern Dance had put in their upmost dedication and
hard work since last year on their 2017 SYF. These past few
months were a tough journey where the members faced
numerous challenges. However, as a team they persevered
and motivated one another to work towards their goal. This
award isindeed an achievement attained through
determination and sacrifices of the dancers.
