Infocomm<br />
At Infocomm Club, we equip students with IT-related skills and broaden<br />
their perspectives on IT by exposing them to a wide variety of topics such as<br />
photography, videography, programming and game design, as well as audiovisual<br />
skills.<br />
The Media Challenge<br />
A team of students competed in a challenge to come up with a news package<br />
that consisted of an article with captioned photographs and a short video<br />
for the digital media platform. They were also tasked to promote their news<br />
package on various social media platforms. For this 3-days competition, the<br />
team worked hard together to produce and promote a news package about<br />
migrant workers in Singapore.<br />

Game Design<br />
Guided by a trainer, students learnt how to easily create interactive stories,<br />
animations and games using Scratch, a visual programming language.<br />
Conducted over twelve CCA sessions, the course provided a stepping stone to<br />
the world of computer programming.<br />
Learning Journey @ IExperience<br />
We visited the Info-Communications Media Experience Centre (IExperience)<br />
which showcased a wide range of interactive and engaging exhibits designed<br />
to provide visitors with hands-on experience and educate them on the<br />
possibilities, including Smart Nation services such as networks of sensors that<br />
will make our lives more convenient.<br />
