The Drama CCA is made up of 35 lively and enthusiastic budding
thespians who share a love for performing. The club is part of the
school’s Aesthetics niche programme.
The students in the CCA meet twice a week to work on core skills
such as voice projection, articulation, script analysis and physical
theatre.
This year, the club sent in two entries for the Singapore Youth
Festival Arts Presentation and was awarded Certificate of
Distinction and Certificate of Merit. Through rigorous practice
and preparation, students develop values such as discipline,
teamwork, responsibility and commitment.
In March this year, the students watched a play ‘Those Who Can’t,
Teach’ by The Necessary Stage at the Drama Centre Theatre. The
students also participated in a joint SEP activity ‘Bubble football’
with the school MRL club students in July.
