National Police Cadet Corps
The MISSION of the National Police Cadet
Corps is to develop its Cadets into Caring and
Responsible Citizens.
Our Training Framework: 6 ‘A’s Learning Path
• Be AWARE of Self, Others, SPF and NPCC
• ACQUIRE skills and knowledge
• ACTUATE as leader
• ASPIRE to serve
• ACHIEVE competency in skills and knowledge
• AIM to nurture
The Mayflower Secondary School NPCC
Unit focuses on four core values - Discipline,
Adventurous, Responsible and Excellence
(D.A.R.E.), in every endeavour of our cadets.
These values see our cadets through their
four to five years in NPCC, shaping them into
active leaders within the unit as well as in
the community. The Mayflower Secondary
School NPCC Unit has once again done the
school proud by attaining Gold in the Unit
Overall Proficiency Award (UOPA), exhibiting
the value of excellence through the hard work
of the cadets, Cadet Inspectors and Teacher
Officers. Our unit has also been involved in
many activities and projects such as Adventure
and Survival Camps, Care and Share Project in
collaboration with the Community. Through
these projects, the cadets learnt to care for the
needy and also team work. Together with Ang
Mo Kio North Neighbourhood Police Centre,
we helped to spread awareness of SG Secure
and the threats of terrorism.
As an equal opportunity co-curricular activity
(CCA), Mayflower Secondary School NPCC
prides itself in providing its cadets with a rich
and unique CCA experience.
