National Cadet Corps
One of the hallmarks of Mayflower Secondary National Cadet Corp (Land) is the NCC Precision Drill Squad (PDS).
The PDS team is one of the key pillars that moulds the character of the cadets. The training process of the PDS skill
and participation in the related competition activity inculcates students with values of discipline, perseverance and
teamwork. The Mayflower Secondary NCC PDS team is testament to the cadets’ personal passion and loyalty for their
CCA honour and pride.
MF NCC places equal importance on collaborative efforts to foster community spirit and commitment in cadets. As
such, NCC cadets were actively involved in NCC HQ inter-unit events and VIA projects. These include participation in
the Inter-CCA Skills Sharing, MF’s Speech Day Parade, and the Overseas Inter-UG VIA at Pattaya, Thailand. The cadets
were also involved in community events for the National Day Observance ceremony in August. Through their active
participation and public performance at various functions and events, the Mayflower NCC Unit has undoubtedly
developed a culture of Character Development within the school’s learning environment.
