Girl Guides<br />
<strong>Mayflower</strong> Girl Guides nurtures girls into independent and responsible<br />
young women. We provide a platform for them to develop their<br />
fullest potential to become responsible citizens who will grow, lead<br />
and empower the world.<br />
Besides the rigorous drills, camps and gadget-tying we strive to<br />
provide a holistic programme to value-add our girls by involving<br />
them in various programmes such as the Free Being Me workshop,<br />
outdoor cooking and service learning projects. The girls also take part<br />
in various activities and competitions hosted by HQ to showcase their<br />
skills.<br />

“Be Prepared” – the GSS motto – enables us to always be ready<br />
for eventuality in the fast changing world. This helps us girls fully<br />
achieve our individual potential and equip us with ethics, values and<br />
leadership skills.<br />

Kong Kit Yan, 3I was selected to be part of Guides Marching Contingent for <strong>2017</strong> National<br />
Day Parade at The Floating Platform.<br />
Awarded 1st Place in the Mason Terrarium Competition (South Division Day).<br />
Awarded 3rd Place in the Scarf Design Competition (South Division Day).<br />
Hosted MFSS Guides & Scouts Campfire <strong>2017</strong> for South Division Schools.<br />
