Physical Health and Canteen<br />
The aim of the Physical Health and Canteen committee is to promote the health and fitness of staff and students by<br />
inculcating healthy eating habits and developing a passion for sports/exercise.<br />
We are involved in the following:<br />
• Plan, implement and evaluate activities pertaining to health, sports and fitness for staff and students.<br />
• Raise awareness amongst staff and students on physical health matters.<br />
• Provide guidance to all teachers with regard to health and suitability of activities (e.g. types of exercises, sports<br />
and their effects on the body).<br />
• Ensure canteen food is of good quality and adheres to the guidelines provided by Health Promotion Board as<br />
part of the Healthy Meals in Schools Programme.<br />
• Keep abreast of issues pertaining to physical health and eating.<br />
