7.2.2.3 List backup of certain objects
By default, the list utility lists backups made for the target database. You
can restrict the list to specific objects. The following are examples:
To find out if there is a backup of the controlfile within the last 24 hours:
RMAN> list backup of controlfile completed after 'sysdate-1';
