The file ending readme.ftp (IP22151_12_readme.ftp) contains instructions on<br />

how to download and install the client code. The file ending read1stc.txt<br />

(IP22151_12_read1stc.txt) is the readme for this level of code. The readme<br />

contains inform<strong>at</strong>ion th<strong>at</strong> should be read before install<strong>at</strong>ion. Among other<br />

things the readme contains: system requirements, warnings, APARS fixed in<br />

the PTF, limit<strong>at</strong>ions, etc.<br />

We downloaded the file IP22151_12.exe and saved it to the local hard drive<br />

of the machine th<strong>at</strong> the DB2 server is running on. The full level inform<strong>at</strong>ion of<br />

this package is Version 4 Release 1 Level 2.12.<br />

9.7.2.2 Install<strong>at</strong>ion<br />

After downloading the TSM backup-archive client, double-click the package<br />

to start the install<strong>at</strong>ion process. You will be presented with a screen<br />

requesting a temporary loc<strong>at</strong>ion to extract the contents of the package<br />

(Figure 37).<br />
