This section contains client environment inform<strong>at</strong>ion and software<br />

requirements for installing TDP for <strong>Oracle</strong> on a AIX or Sun Solaris pl<strong>at</strong>form.<br />

C.2.1 Installing TDP for <strong>Oracle</strong><br />

These are the main differences from the previous version of TDP:<br />

<strong>Oracle</strong>7 inclusive Enterprise Backup Utility (EBU) is no longer supported.<br />

TSM API version 3.2 is not supported, but TSM API version 4.1.2 is<br />

included on the CD.<br />

AIX 4.3.1 is not supported.<br />

SNA LU6.2 is not supported.<br />

A new utility is included as a separ<strong>at</strong>e package.<br />

A new install<strong>at</strong>ion p<strong>at</strong>h is provided for TDP 64-bit architecture.<br />
