On one of my websites, I had
written an article on “vitamin A”. I
had also referenced vitamin A in
120+ other articles on the site. The
Wordpress search box placed my
main “vitamin A” article around
position 125. That’s not very good!
Wordpress or not, check out the
search script your site is using. Do
some searches. Does it return the
most relevant pages in the results
for search queries? If the results
are not very good, you need to look
for a new search box script. There
is one I can recommend.
