Gallery, London, befindet. Das Gemälde Horse
Guards Parade from St. James‘s Park, welches 1993
auch in der bedeutenden Ausstellung „Canaletto &
England“ in Birmingham ausgestellt wurde (Katalog
Nr. 57).

WILLIAM JAMES,
ACTIVE 1730 – 1780
William James was a highly esteemed artist in 18th
century London. Some of his London views were
exhibited at the annual exhibition of the Society of
Artists between 1767 and 1771. The exhibition of 1767
featured two paintings depicting the western end
of Westminster Bridge.
