Procedure:<br />
The inspector will need to locate and identify the airbag lamp on the dashboard and<br />
the locations of the airbags.<br />
Items to Inspect:<br />
Airbag malfunction indicator lamp and airbags.<br />
Inspect For And Reject If:<br />
A. Airbags:<br />
1. The airbag is deployed or removed.<br />
B. Airbag Lamp:<br />
1. The lamp is not operating as designed.<br />
2. There is an indication of a malfunction (airbag light illuminated with the engine<br />
running) in the airbag system.<br />
