Describing the Transfer-Failure Keywords<br />

The <strong>NetView</strong> <strong>FTP</strong> <strong>V2.2.1</strong> <strong>MVS</strong> keyword string contains the transfer-failure keywords<br />

as described in Figure 102. These keywords are helpful if you have a problem<br />

transferring a file in a specific environment. Because a file transfer always involves<br />

two programs, the sending program and the receiving program, there are keywords<br />

for the sending node and the receiving node of a file transfer.<br />

The values for the keywords must be retrieved from the file transfer that ended in<br />

error. Select the most appropriate keywords and complete them with the required<br />

data.<br />

PIDS/0Sfmid The FMID of the sending program.<br />

PIDS/0Rfmid The FMID of the receiving program.<br />

PCSS/Sc Data set allocation indicator for the sending program.<br />

If you specify a value for c, it must be one of the following:<br />

DYNAMIC If dynamic allocation was performed.<br />

JOB If job allocation was performed.<br />

PCSS/Rc Data set allocation indicator for the receiving program.<br />
