Migrating <strong>NetView</strong> <strong>FTP</strong> V2.2.0 <strong>MVS</strong> to <strong>NetView</strong> <strong>FTP</strong> <strong>V2.2.1</strong> <strong>MVS</strong><br />

When migrating from <strong>NetView</strong> <strong>FTP</strong> V2.2.0 <strong>MVS</strong> to <strong>NetView</strong> <strong>FTP</strong> <strong>V2.2.1</strong> <strong>MVS</strong>, be<br />

aware of the following:<br />

� You must define a new file transfer request queue.<br />

� Requests that were created and saved via the interactive interface of <strong>NetView</strong><br />

<strong>FTP</strong> V2.2.0 <strong>MVS</strong> can be migrated via the Convert option in the Main Task<br />

Selection of the <strong>NetView</strong> <strong>FTP</strong> <strong>V2.2.1</strong> <strong>MVS</strong> interactive interface.<br />

� You can use the same user-written exit routines. However, it is recommended<br />

to recompile the exit routines with a macro library that includes the Application<br />

Program Parameter List (APL) macro source.<br />

� You can use the same <strong>NetView</strong> <strong>FTP</strong> <strong>MVS</strong> batch jobs and application programs.<br />

It is recommended that you recompile the application programs with a macro<br />

library that contains the APL macro source.<br />
