Request Queue Status<br />

This event reflects the status of the request queues. It is issued whenever the<br />

request queue status changes.<br />

The event passes the following parameters:<br />

JOBNAME (name of the job issuing the event)<br />

TRQUN (number of unused request queue slots)<br />

TRQFR (number of finished jobs)<br />

TRQRS (number of waiting requests due to start)<br />

TRQRC (number of requests due for remote checking)<br />

TRQWR1 (number of waiting requests, classes � - 9)<br />

TRQWR2 (number of waiting requests, classes A - J)<br />

TRQWR3 (number of waiting requests, classes K - T)<br />

TRQWR4 (number of waiting requests, classes U - Z)<br />

TRQAR1 (number of active requests, classes � - 9)<br />

TRQAR2 (number of active requests, classes A - J)<br />

TRQAR3 (number of active requests, classes K - T)<br />

TRQAR4 (number of active requests, classes U - Z)<br />

General Comments<br />

All numbers are given in decimal. If several values are related to one keyword,<br />

they are separated by commas.<br />

The event that <strong>NetView</strong> <strong>FTP</strong> <strong>V2.2.1</strong> <strong>MVS</strong> issued when the queue handler<br />

started providing information about the initial state of the request queue. When<br />

a new request is entered, a request is deleted, or a request is scheduled, the<br />

status of the request queue changes and that change is passed with this event.<br />

There are several applications for this event:<br />

� Network-wide request-queue status<br />

� Tailoring of server classes depending on the load in the different request<br />

classes.<br />

The event is issued each time the TRQ is updated.<br />

Server Status<br />

This event is issued by the queue handler after a server has completed its initialization<br />

procedure, and whenever the operator issues a request to modify a server.<br />
