Collections: it is important to mention its special collections, which, among others, include
the linz Archive concerning the transition in the Spanish press (1973–1987), composed of
newspaper cuttings about events, opinions and declarations by key figures in the political,
social and economic life. there is also the Gunther Archive, containing recorded interviews
with the leaders of the main political parties during the Spanish transition (1978–1995): the
Democratic Center union (uCD), the Spanish Socialist Party (PSoE), the Spanish Communist
Party (PCE), Popular Alliance (AP), the Democratic Convergence of Catalonia (CDC), and the
Basque nationalist Party (PnV).

en Derecho Constitucional, teoría del Estado, teoría de la Constitución, Ciencia política,
Historia de las ideas políticas e Historia política de España, y materias conexas de Derecho
público. Cuenta con monografías y publicaciones periódicas.

Main collection: the library, which includes the collections from the Center’s predecessors:
the institute of Political Studies (1939–1977) and the institute of Administrative Studies (1966–
1977), specializes in Constitutional law, theory of the State, theory of the Constitution,
Political Sciences, History of Political ideas, and the Political History of Spain, as well as
subjects relating to Public law. it contains monographs and periodicals.
