the Center is divided into several areas and explains such issues as the development of
aviation over the course of the war, the role of the republican aviation, the impact that foreign
intervention had on both sides and what the war in the air was like both at the front and
behind the lines. Visitors can also see how a military airfield was built and what personnel
(airmen, mechanics, gunsmiths, etc.) worked there.

El Centro de interpretación propone un recorrido por diversos momentos del campo de
aviación, desde su construcción por el Gobierno de la república en el año 1937 hasta su
ocupación por la legión Cóndor alemana. El aeródromo además es un espacio al aire libre
que ha sido señalizado con varios paneles explicativos y dos perfiles de avión (un caza
policarpov i–16 y un caza messerschmitt Bf 109), un refugio antiaéreo militar y la casa de
comandancia restaurada convertida en un Centro de interpretación. El Centro pretende
mostrar la guerra aérea en el contexto de la Guerra Civil y sus consecuencias sobre la
población civil.
the Center proposes a time route of the aviation camp, from its construction by the Government
of the republic in 1937 until its occupation by the German Condor legion. the airfield is
also an open-air space marked with some information panels and the outlines of two planes
(a Policarpov i–16 fighter and a messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter), a military air-raid shelter, and
the headquarters, now converted into an interpretation center. the Center aims at showing
aerial war in the context of the Civil War and its effects on the population.
