Holdings: documents issued by the Goverment and Administration of the madrid region,
and their predecessors, as well as those of madrid municipalities and of the peripheral State
administration, from the 13 th century to the present day. Among others, it is important to
mention collections concerning administrative activities (agriculture, commerce, finance,
culture, justice, etc.) and the national movements institutions. it also holds private archives
about show business, town planning and architecture, companies, and so on. Particularly
noteworthy are collections of photographs by martín Santos yubero (1924–1987) and
Cristóbal Portillo (1922–1997).

centuries in the course of its activities (taxes, goods, social aid, public works, etc.),
collections relating to villages annexed to the municipality of madrid (16 th –20 th centuries)
