Fondos: además de documentos de las distintas parroquias vizcaínas hasta 1900, contiene
fondos de la diócesis de Vizcaya generados durante el siglo XX, de diversas instituciones
(acción Católica, 1888–1997; Cáritas, 1945–1983, …) y sacerdotes (1967–1998), así como
un archivo de fuentes orales formado por entrevistas al clero diocesano sobre temas como
el Concilio Vaticano ii, la Guerra Civil, la dictadura, la transición política, la violencia de
Eta o el Estatuto de autonomía.

Holdings: besides documents form Parish churches in the Biscay region until 1900, the
Archive contains records from the Biscay diocese generated in the 20 th century, of several
institutions (Catholic Action, 1888–1997; Caritas, 1945–1983, …) and of priests (1967–1998),
as well as an oral sources archive made up of interviews with the clergy of the diocese on
topics such as the Second Vatican Council, the Civil War, the dictatorship, the political
transition, the violence of EtA or the Statute of Autonomy.
