organization that helped Spanish political exiles in France), personal collections concerning
the Spanish Civil War and Exile, the Democratic memorial Audiovisual Bank (audiovisual archive
of commentaries on the institution’s period of reference), with transcribed and indexed
interviews; a database of former political prisoners in Catalonia, and a database of Spaniards
deported to nazi concentration camps.

asociación que agrupa a los exdeportados republicanos de los campos de concentración
del nazismo, así como a los familiares y amigos, tanto de los supervivientes como de los
deportados que muerieron en los campos, con el objeto de trabajar en favor de la memoria
de todas aquellas personas que vivieron y lucharon durante la Guerra Civil antes de cruzar
la frontera francesa camino del exilio y que más tarde fueron deportados a los campos nazis.
An association which brings together Spanish republican ex-deportees from the nazi
concentration camps as well as relatives and friends of the survivors and of those that died
at the camps, with the aim of keeping alive the memory of those who lived and fought during
the Spanish Civil War, before crossing the French border on their way to exile and who, later,
were deported to nazi concentration camps.
