The Unexport trading company<br />

is comprised of 16 producer<br />

companies located in the<br />

southeastern of Spain, which<br />

permit it to have access to the<br />

widest range of products -stone<br />

fruit, leaf, vegetables, watermelon,<br />

grape, …- and be present<br />

in the market during 12<br />

months.<br />

This firm was born with the<br />

objective to achieve international<br />

deals directly with the<br />

purchase head of the chains in<br />

destination and is the exporter<br />

group of higher growth at present.<br />

The company marketed<br />

27,000 tons in 2012 to complex<br />

destinations such as the<br />

Nordic markets, Lithuania or<br />

Arab Emirates, although is also<br />

working with french chains.<br />

“The Nordic market is the<br />

reference destination for our<br />

firm. We have achieved loyalty<br />

of some chains of Sweden and<br />

Finland,” emphasizes Thomas<br />

Andersson, marketing manager<br />

of Unexport.<br />

Strategy. The Nordic markets<br />

are a 35 percent of its exports,<br />

followed by the markets of<br />

Eastern Europe that have the<br />

25 percent. “We have goals of<br />

reaching 37,000 tons thanks<br />

to marketing offices that Unexport<br />

have in France, Poland,<br />

Czech Republic, Austria, Sweden<br />

and Dubai”, notes Andersson<br />

as a key to the future development<br />

of the company.<br />

In addition to the large product<br />

portfolio of Unexport, the trading<br />

company also has a range<br />

of organic product formed by<br />

broccoli, pointed cabbage and<br />

leaf, which added 740 tons last<br />

year.<br />

Since the current campaign,<br />

it has opted for a strategy of<br />

unification of brand and all orders<br />

are made under the brand<br />

named Unexport.<br />
