UNA DOLCE<br />
TRADIZIONE<br />
Il dolce tipico di Ostra Vetere<br />
è il maiorchino, un dolce dalla<br />
forma schiacciata che la tradizione<br />
vuole sia nato da un errore<br />
di dosaggio nella preparazione<br />
<strong>del</strong>la pizza Margherita. Può<br />
essere mangiato fresco o secco<br />
inzuppato nel vino bianco, nel<br />
latte o nel té.<br />
A SWEET TRADITION<br />
The maiorchino, a dessert with<br />
a flattened shape, is a traditional<br />
dessert in Ostra Vetere. Legend has<br />
it that it came about due to a mistake<br />
in the dosage for the dough of a Pizza<br />
Margherita. It may be eaten fresh or dry<br />
and dipped in white wine, milk or tea.<br />
