Plastindustrien i Danmark
Der stilles krav om, at en lang række af kemiske stoffer ikke må indgå i kemiske
byggeprodukter.
Bisphenol-A forbydes som stof i kemiske byggeprodukter.
meningsløst at udelukke bispehnol-A i kemiske byggeprodukter. Bisphenol-A bør
derfor fjernes fra listen.
The European polymer producers (PlasticsEurope), together with the European PVC
resin producers (ECVM), and the European plastics converting industry (EuPC)
Comments on Bisphenol A :
In particular, the restriction on Bisphenol A (BPA) should be removed from the criteria.
BPA has been the subject of extensive scientific testing and government reviews
worldwide. International responsible authorities such as the European Commission, the
European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
and the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare have all assessed the
comprehensive database on BPA. Based on a weight-of-evidence approach, these
assessments have consistently concluded that human exposure levels to BPA are low and
within the safe limits set by government authorities. Just recently the EU Commission
(June 2008), EFSA (July 2008), and the US FDA (August 2008) re-confirmed their longstanding
conclusions that products made from BPA are safe for their intended uses. Over
50 years of research and extensive use throughout the world provide convincing evidence
that products made from materials based on BPA are safe for their intended uses.
Key points for Bisphenol A, polycarbonate and epoxy resins are :
• Polycarbonate and epoxy resins are safe in their intended uses;
• They do not give rise to risks to the environment or health in their intended uses;
Therefore, they cannot give rise to risks in houses etc.
Fore these reasons, the plastics industries urge removing restrictions on specific
substances, especially Bisphenol A.
Alcro-Beckers Sverige
AkzoNobel Sverige
Bisfenol-A ingår som grundsten i Epoxyprodukter. Kanske kan man bygga småhus,
lägenheter och förskolebyggnader utan dessa produkter?
