Standardization of Protocols for Pratical Classes of
the main of Human Histology; Higher Institute of Education at the Agostinho
Neto University - Lubango / Angola 2006.
The overall goal of this research was to develop, at low cost, standardized
protocols of laboratory practices to further the practical lessons of Human
Histology, taught at the Higher Institute of Nursing at the Agostinho Neto
University and other units with similar courses. This has been an exploratory work,
or discovery of contrast, which also became a critical interpretation of the form of
administration of the practical lessons of Histology, therefore, also worked on the
framework of classical methodology. We have worked within the framework of the
paradigms of quantitative, qualitative and critical. The population token account
covers the majors in the medical sciences, such as Human Medicine, Veterinary
Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Dentistry, Laboratory, and even Biology and
other related courses that have a common program of Human General Histology.
The sample only was the Laboratory of Human Histology of the School of Nursing,
of University Agostinho Neto, although there is a need for standardization of
laboratory practices of Histology for related courses. The diagnosis made was the
recognition, by the majority, that is needed this kind of protocols and lack of
recognition and / or unwillingness of some teachers in their preparation. It has
been proposed a teaching model, with central axis in the standard of a scientific
research project and to the drafting of protocols, such as practical contribution of
research. It has been also developed a pedagogical model based on standardized
protocols of laboratory practices for the discipline of Human General Histology. To
apply the results of this work would start using the Model Protocol for teaching
practical lessons of Human General Histology now conceived. It has been
recommended the proposed pedagogical model to the authorities dealing with
higher education in Angola.
