It stresses a very important role of churchfairs and religious celebrations which are becoming an essential element of promotinga particular region. The author also emphasizes the fact that the eastern parts of PodkarpackieProvince have been associated with religious ceremonies and pilgrimages forcenturies. Nowadays this tradition is maintained and sanctuaries in Podkarpacie are stillvisited by many individual tourists and pilgrimage groups. Podkarpackie Province playsin this respect a significant role in promoting cultural and religious heritage of selectedplaces among potential tourists.
