Having received the Doctrine from the Thera, the king destroyed the Bhikkhu emblems of those who had furtively attached themselves (to the Saṅgha). 54. titthiyā sakavādena pabbajitvā anādarā buddhavacanaṁ bhindiṁsu visuddhakañcanaṁ iva. 268 | 54.
