navamāsehi niṭṭhāsi tatiyo saṅgaho ayan ti. |<br />

59. In <strong>the</strong> monastery <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Asokārāma which had been built by king<br />

Dhammāsoka, this third convocation was finished in <strong>the</strong> space <strong>of</strong> nine months.<br />

Saddhammasaṅgahaṁ Navamāsaṁ Niṭṭhitaṁ<br />

Here ends <strong>the</strong> Council <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> true Faith which lasted nine months<br />
