Abstract
Vocational education in the Republic of Northern Macedonia
has been the focus of reform processes, resulting from rapid
changes labour market demands for new qualifications and
skills.
In order to be able to monitor these reforms, as well as actively
engage in modern educational flows, ASUC “Boro Petrusevski”
has strengthened its participation in international projects. A
close cooperation with social partners, in the process of participating
in the projects, was established.
This paper presents how collaboration between school and social
partners is established and developed by analysing several
previous international projects we have jointly participated in.
The basic question we try to answer is whether cooperation
with social partners in international projects contributes to
acquisition of skills and competences by students thus enabling
them to be more competitive in the labour market.
The research purpose is to show benefits of school and social
partners’ participation in international projects.
