Abstract
Introduction: Teacher is a transmitter of knowledge and builds
a bridge between students and theory. It is up to teachers to
decide how they are going to play this role. It is vital for teachers
to constantly educate themselves and improve in order
to transmit knowledge better by using modern methods. One
of possibilities of teacher professional growth is Erasmus+ teacher
exchange.
Methods: Qualitative research, using SPIN model to evaluate
weaknesses and opportunities as well as dangers of employing
new approaches in education used in schools around Europe,
was used.
Results: It is our wish to use obtained results for encouraging
teachers, who have participated in Erasmus+ K1 projects, to
use and implement ways of using modern digital technology
and other innovative and creative approaches. Consequently,
they contribute to more dynamic and interesting lessons.
Discussion: Teachers upgrade their knowledge by using approaches
they have seen abroad and implement interesting lessons,
which are more appealing to young »digital« generations.
Furthermore, teachers improve language, cultural, communication
and organizational competences.
