Abstract<br />
Introduction: Teacher is a transmitter of knowledge and builds<br />
a bridge between students and theory. It is up to teachers to<br />
decide how they are going to play this role. It is vital for teachers<br />
to constantly educate themselves and improve in order<br />
to transmit knowledge better by using modern methods. One<br />
of possibilities of teacher professional growth is Erasmus+ teacher<br />
exchange.<br />
Methods: Qualitative research, using SP<strong>IN</strong> model to evaluate<br />
weaknesses and opportunities as well as dangers of employing<br />
new approaches in education used in schools around Europe,<br />
was used.<br />
Results: It is our wish to use obtained results for encouraging<br />
teachers, who have participated in Erasmus+ K1 projects, to<br />
use and implement ways of using modern digital technology<br />
and other innovative and creative approaches. Consequently,<br />
they contribute to more dynamic and interesting lessons.<br />
Discussion: Teachers upgrade their knowledge by using approaches<br />
they have seen abroad and implement interesting lessons,<br />
which are more appealing to young »digital« generations.<br />
Furthermore, teachers improve language, cultural, communication<br />
and organizational competences.<br />
