กระบวนกำรทำงำนทั้งสี่วันประกอบด้วย กำรรู้จักพื้นที
กำรสำรวจ กำรผลิตผลงำน และกำรนำเสนอ กำรทำ
ควำมรู้จักพื้นที่ - สำรวจ กำรสำรวจและกำรทำควำมรู้จัก
พื้นที่ควำมร่วมมือจำกกลุ่มรักษ์หลักห้ำ ผอ.โรงเรียนวัด
ประสำทสิทธิ์ นำยกเทศบำลตำบลศรีดอนไผ่ หน่วยงำน
รำชกำรในพื้นที่ และชำวชุมชนหลักห้ำมำร่วมเล่ำเรื่อง
ตลำดน้ำหลักห้ำ ทั้งยังได้ควำมร่วมมือจำกนักเรียนมัธยม
โรงเรียนประสำทรัฐประชำกิจ (โรงเรียนในพื้นที่) มำเป็น
ส่วนหนึ่งของกำรร่วมกันทำงำน กำรสำรวจมีทั้งกำรสำรวจ
กำยภำพเบื้องต้น เปิดโอกำสให้ผู้เข้ำร่วมโครงกำรมีอิสระ
ในกำรมองประเด็นที่ตนเองสนใจ และนำผลกำรสำรวจ
มำสร้ำงประเด็นในกำรสำรวจในขั้นตอนต่อไป กำรสำรวจ
ขั้นที่สอง ผู้เข้ำร่วมโครงกำรแต่ละกลุ่มมีประเด็นที่สนใจเป็น
ตัวกำกับทิศทำงในกำรสำรวจในขั้นตอนนี้ มีกำรสัมภำษณ์
กำรรู้จักพื้นที่นอกเหนือจำกทำงกำยภำพ รู้จักชุมชนผ่ำน
ควำมทรงจำและประวัติศำสตร์ครัวเรือน และเรื่องเล่ำ

is one of the many communities affected by the coming
of public roads. Urban development has caused the once
highly energetic floating market community to change.
The locals begin and continue the rehabilitation process
through the unification of people in the community and
activities held on public holidays in an attempt to revitalize
the floating market and ultimately the local economy.
The program encourages the community to revisit the
historical content of the area, and recreate the history
from the locals’ own stories and narratives including
the making of a participative cultural map, which are
parts of the initial process that allows for the community
to acknowledge, understand and define its own identity.
The methods also help the involved collaborators and
the locals to realize the true potential of the area as the
participants learn the actual process of conceptualization
and materialization of the projects that lead to
successful end results. Along the way, they learn the
actual making of a cultural map through a participative
process, including the approach to understand and
identify the values of the community, exchange of
knowledge and experiences with the community and
the creation of effective media.
“ASA-CAN Workshop: Living with Khlong at Lak Ha
Floating Market Community” focuses on the making of
a cultural mapping of the area. The short period of the
operation included 20 participants from different educational
institutes, while the 4-day period from the 18 th
to 31 st of July 2016 encompassed the surveying of
participants and exploration of the area, production and
presentation. The project received assistance from Rak
Lak Ha Group, the Director of Wat Prasartsit School,
Mayor of Sri Don Phai sub district municipality, local
governmental agencies and Lak Ha locals. The stories of
Lak Ha Floating Market were also retold to the secondary
students from from Prasart Ratprachakij School (a local
school) who took part in the work process. The survey
included the observation of the initial physical conditions
of the area as the participants were granted opportunity
and freedom to explore the issues they found interesting.
The results were used in the formation of topics for the
next stage of exploration. Guided by the issues they
found interesting, different groups of participants conducted
interviews as they learned about different aspects
of the neighborhood, in addition to its physical conditions,
through memories, narratives and history told by
families or at an individual scale.
The project emphasizes the participation in and creation
of a platform where locals’ opinions are presented,
acknowledged and discussed. Participants were divided
into groups as collaborations took place and opinions
were exchanged. The interesting issues conceived from
the surveys and interviews with the locals were presented
through six different approaches. 1) the pinning of important
locations in Lak Ha Floating Market Community
where a large map was created and the locals were
invited to pin the places that found interesting for their
historical significance, food or way of life. 2) stories told
through old pictures of community members as images
with collective memories bring a collective sense of
awareness and ownership to the locals. 3) Organizing
