For 50 years, the Fraunhofer Institute for
Manu facturing Engineering and Automation
(IPA) has helped industrial companies in solving
organizational and technological challenges
during the production process.
At the Department of Corporate Logistics and
Order Management, the focus is placed on
systematically developing and implementing
organizational solutions for the manufacturing
area.
IPA’s services range from production planning
and control methods to project management,
from management of business, service and
maintenance networks to material and information
logistics in development and production
networks, as well as offering assistance
in software selection (ERP, PPC, MES, SCM).
This is complemented by IPA’s extensive
experience in coating technology, ultraclean
technology, micromanufacturing and automation,
in functional materials, coatings and
pigments, technical information processing,
factory planning and quality management.
