One of southern Germany’s most significant<br />
real-estate projects is being developed at<br />
Flugfeld Böblingen / Sindelfingen. The urban<br />
district has an attractive mix of manufacturing,<br />
services, research, educational, residential<br />
and leisure facilities, all close to the regional<br />
capital of Stuttgart. Businesses offering<br />
approximately 7,000 jobs are planned to open<br />
here, as well as 1,600 residential units for<br />
about 4,000 people. Currently, approximately<br />
600 people live here and 600 work here.<br />
The prestigious business location has multinational<br />
companies and a cross-sector range<br />
of suppliers and services on the doorstep.<br />
The joint body is also active as a project partner<br />
in mobility/new propulsion systems, aerospace,<br />
building a test laboratory for satellite<br />
navigation as well as training and education.<br />
The German Aerospace Academy (ASA) and<br />
the Technology and Innovation Center for<br />
Environmental Technology and Resource Efficiency<br />
– INUTEC-BW have chosen <strong>Forum</strong> 1 on<br />
the Flugfeld for their offices and laboratories.<br />
