sophisticated ultraprecision machines, optical
and mechanical components as well as optical
surfaces – mostly from non-ferrous metals.
The company focuses on innovative projects
using its own research content. Kugler produces
high-quality functional models, prototypes
as well as high and low-volume production
on request, or for concept development
purposes.
Kugler specialises in the following:
• ultraprecision components and processing
machines with precision mechanical, aerostatic
and hydrostatic bearing technology
• metal optics for high-performance lasers
(IR – VIS)
• job order production: ultraprecision surface
diamond turning and milling with diameters
of up to 1,500 mm
• direct machining of plastic components for
illumination and imaging optics
• moulds for series production using diamond
and tungsten carbide machining, with or
without repolishing processes
