<strong>Forum</strong> LR BW started the regional cluster<br />
FAN with the University of Stuttgart, Stuttgart<br />
Region Economic Development Corporation<br />
(WRS), the regional capital of Stuttgart, TTZ<br />
Lampoldshausen and the Flugfeld Böblingen/<br />
Sindelfingen.<br />
FAN focuses its activities on the European<br />
metropolitan region of Stuttgart. It aims to<br />
further innovation and cooperation along the<br />
value chain through focusing and strengthening<br />
collaboration, so FAN concentrates on<br />
six main business areas. Facilitating partners<br />
to develop networks, exploiting potential for<br />
innovation as well as recruiting to ensure an<br />
accomplished future workforce are extremely<br />
important. Vigorous marketing ensures good<br />
positioning at a regional, national and a European<br />
level, helping to open new markets. FAN<br />
also directly assists companies to raise f<strong>und</strong>s.<br />
FAN is supported by <strong>Baden</strong>-<strong>Württemberg</strong>’s<br />
Ministry of Finance and Economics and the<br />
European Regional Development F<strong>und</strong> (ERDF).
