instance in papers on nursing science. We are providing the current<br />

content <strong>of</strong> the scientific debate on those topics in order to <strong>of</strong>fer<br />

preselected information for a reflecting practitioner.<br />

One can explore our database on our website, which contains about 20<br />

thousands sets <strong>of</strong> bibliographic data and information indicating whether<br />

this article is in our house. Furthermore, bibliographic data can be<br />

searched on our annual occurring CD-ROMs, which are published and<br />

updated every year. Most <strong>of</strong> full text articles issued on our CDROMs are<br />

prepared for download from our website as well. To publish your work<br />

on these CDs you are invited to send us your work.<br />

In order to provide such a service, insight into the music therapy<br />

pr<strong>of</strong>ession, its practice on the ward, in schools or mental health care<br />

institution, into different music therapy approaches is necessary. It is <strong>of</strong><br />

great importance to discuss with ‘reflective practitioners’ to fit this<br />

service to the needs <strong>of</strong> the music therapy world. Therefore we do not<br />

focus only on our music therapy method taught in the house.<br />

Training issues and doctoral students<br />

And- surely this work is <strong>of</strong> importance for our students. Because this is a<br />

University course there has to be pro<strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong> their ability for scientific<br />

reflection. At the end <strong>of</strong> their training they have to write a thesis on a<br />

certain scientific topic <strong>of</strong> interest. After having read most <strong>of</strong> the standard<br />

textbooks during their study courses they are ready to ask more specific<br />

research questions about their interests which have developed in practice.<br />

Here over the two-year course we have accompanied them in study<br />
