Lao Bao (QUANG TRI)<br />

Special use forest: None<br />

Indochinese Silvered langur status: Unknown, last report in 1929 (museum specimen) (Napier, 1985;<br />

Fooden, 1996)<br />

One adult female skin (BMNH 1933.4.1.12), one juvenile male skin (BMNH 1933.4.1.13) and two<br />

male skins (FMNH 39157 and 39158) were collected in January 1929 by E. Poilane (Napier, 1985;<br />

Fooden, 1996). The reliability of this record was questioned by Osgood (1932).<br />

Dac Glei District (KON TUM)<br />

Special use forest: None<br />

Indochinese Silvered langur status: Provisional occurence, last report in 1991 (museum specimen)<br />

(Fooden, 1996)<br />

One female skin was collected in 1991 by Truong Son (FCXM unnumbered) (Fooden, 1996).<br />

Indochinese Silvered langur status: Provisional occurence, last report before 1995 (Lippold, 1995)<br />

Remains of Indochinese Silvered langurs that had been hunted were seen by a BirdLife and FIPI team<br />

in April 2000. The area is dominated by a dipterocarp forest habitat.<br />

Kon Ha Nung area (GIA LAI)<br />

Special use forest: Partly included in Kong Cha Rang and Kon Ka Kinh Nature Reserves<br />
