You must have an E<strong>the</strong>rnet adapter, <strong>the</strong> TCP/IP protocol, and Client <strong>for</strong> Microsoft Networks.<br />

Note: It is not necessary to remove any o<strong>the</strong>r network components shown in <strong>the</strong><br />

Network window in order to install <strong>the</strong> adapter, TCP/IP, or Client <strong>for</strong> Microsoft<br />

Networks.<br />

If you need to install a new adapter, follow <strong>the</strong>se steps:<br />

a. Click <strong>the</strong> Add button.<br />

b. Select Adapter, and <strong>the</strong>n click Add.<br />

c. Select <strong>the</strong> manufacturer and model of your E<strong>the</strong>rnet adapter, and <strong>the</strong>n click OK.<br />

If you need TCP/IP:<br />

a. Click <strong>the</strong> Add button.<br />

b. Select Protocol, and <strong>the</strong>n click Add.<br />

c. Select Microsoft.<br />

d. Select TCP/IP, and <strong>the</strong>n click OK.<br />
