Mr. Burns joined the faculty<br />
this year as an instructor in the<br />

Policy Program. Until recently Mr.<br />
Burns worked as an attorney for<br />
the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, a<br />
non-pr<strong>of</strong>it conservation organization.<br />

attorney with Wilmer, Cutler and<br />
Pickering. He also has worked in<br />

transactions and regulation <strong>of</strong> foreign<br />
direct investments. Mr. Chibundu<br />
also has served with the Litigation<br />
Committee <strong>of</strong> the South<br />
Africa Project <strong>of</strong> the National <strong>Law</strong>yer's<br />
Committee for Civil Rights.<br />

Mr. Chiu, who has taught at National<br />
Taiwan <strong>University</strong> and at<br />
National Chengchi <strong>University</strong> in<br />
the Republic <strong>of</strong> China, was a research<br />
associate at Harvard <strong>Law</strong><br />
<strong>School</strong> for six years. He has written,<br />
edited and co-authored many<br />
books in English and in Chinese<br />
and more than 75 articles in the<br />
field <strong>of</strong> international and comparative<br />
law. His books include People's<br />
